PITTSBURGH, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Treehouse Software, Inc. (TSI), the leading ISV for users of Software AG's Adabas DBMS and Natural 4GL, today announced that the State of Delaware's Division of Revenue has chosen TSI's DPSync product. As the primary revenue collector for the State, the DOR's mission is to collect 100% of the taxes and other revenues required by law to be remitted to the State.
The DOR plans to use DPSync to replicate all critical mainframe Adabas data in real time to Oracle. Expected benefits include faster and easier access of up-to-date information for Internet applications and internal operations, based on the most recent information available. "We are very pleased that the State of Delaware has selected DPSync," said Wayne Lashley, TSI's COO. "Our long-term customers such as the State of Delaware have told us that real-time propagation of Adabas data is a top priority. We look forward to our continued relationship in the State's implementation of this important capability to provide easier access by a variety of applications, in support of the DOR's mission."
About DPSync
DPSync delivers Adabas data to relational databases in real time, providing immediate access without impacting Adabas performance. An off-the- shelf, fast and comprehensive solution for native, real-time transformation and propagation of Adabas data to RDBMSs, DPSync analyzes Adabas data, defines the RDBMS and transformation processes, generates metadata, extracts and transforms data and loads the RDBMS tables, and applies transactional updates. Unlike other solutions, DPSync does not oblige customers to acquire non- integrated message-oriented middleware in order to complete the architecture.
