HERNDON, Va., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Rivulet Communications, whose technology dramatically improves the performance of IP networks, announced today that its Board of Directors has named Ed Kennedy as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. The Board also announced other new members of the executive management team and the relocation of its headquarters to the Dulles Technology Corridor.

Kennedy has assembled an experienced executive management team to help drive Rivulet's growth. The new team is comprised of executives whose broad experience encompasses datacom, telecom, service providers, and optical networking serving the medical, government, and networking markets. The team's unique blend of skills and background sets Rivulet apart in its ability to address multifaceted customer needs. Other team members include Steven Rogers, founder and chief technology officer (CTO); Steve Furr, chief financial officer (CFO); Greg Nulty, senior VP of business development; Chris Roller, senior VP of engineering; and Jeff Schmitz, senior VP of sales and marketing.
