announced today that Eric Tom will be joining the company as its new Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America including Canada and Mexico, subject to his obtaining appropriate regulatory approvals.
Tom has more than 20 years of experience in executive level sales and marketing related positions with large corporations operating in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He was most recently VP of Strategic Channels, Corporate & Business Development of Force10 Networks, a $200 million network equipment manufacturer. He was CEO for Broadband Interactive TV. He was VP of Sales for Qwest's sales and marketing organization of 1,000 people and $1.5 billion in revenue in 2004. Prior to Qwest, he operated extensively throughout Asia as Pihana Pacific's EVP of Product and Channel Development. He was also President of Sprint's Hospitality Market Group where he worked closely with many Las Vegas hotels and casinos.

Tom received a master's in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley with emphasis in corporate finance and entrepreneurship. He has a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Hawaii.
