SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Splunk, the IT Search company, today announced that Godfrey Sullivan, former President and CEO of Hyperion Solutions -- has agreed to join Splunk as President and CEO and will join the board of directors. Sullivan joined Hyperion Solutions in 2001 as president and COO and served as president and CEO from 2004 until its acquisition by Oracle in 2007.
