Hybris Announces its Presence in US Market at Internet Retailer 2008

CHICAGO, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hybris, http://www.hybris.com, a leading multi-channel communication and commerce software vendor, today announced its entry into the US market by exhibiting at the Internet Retailer 2008 event in Chicago (IRCE 08) where it will be exhibiting with Arvato Systems at booth number 711. This follows a US partnership agreement made between Hybris and Arvato Systems and the company gaining its first US-only customer wins.

By focusing on the publishing and management of data from multiple data sources and in various sources, Hybris creates a 'single source of truth' for e-commerce and product information management (PIM) systems. This allows companies to develop effective and innovative online, multichannel management and to maximize their online commerce activities. Hybris works with global brands such as Puma, Norgren, Zavvi and Blaupunkt helping them with their e-commerce and PIM requirements.

Speaking about the announcement, Carsten Thoma, Managing Director of Hybris US, said; "We have worked hard to break into the US market, going against the usual trend of companies coming from the US to Europe. We already have customers such as Puma and Henkel that are using our solutions in the US market, but we now also have customers who are operating in the US only. Our partnership with Arvato Systems, who will distribute and implement our e-commerce and PIM solutions, has been a key factor in this success.

We are delighted to be at IRCE 08, to highlight our solutions in the US market, and look forward to helping more US companies in the retail and manufacturing sectors with their online selling and supply chain operations."

Frank Zimmermann, Managing Director of Arvato Systems, said: "Hybris is a perfect fit for us. We are always looking for cutting edge technologies that can help to create significant value to our customers. We believe that this partnership will make a considerable contribution to our business in the US market as we help our customers to drive their business through multi-channel communications and commerce."
