Gigablast Adds Marcus Ruark as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Ruark is a seasoned technology executive with over 15 years of experience delivering quality solutions to a wide variety of industries and customers. He will lead Gigablast's sales and marketing organizations and is responsible for all aspects of the company's sales efforts, business development, customer relations, product strategy, and marketing.

Before co-founding Optiant, Ruark was co-founder and VP of Marketing for Commotion Technology, Inc. NASDAQ: BRKS. He has also held executive positions in marketing at River Logic, Inc., sales at PanGo Networks, Inc., and program management for the US Air Force and the National Security Agency. Ruark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management, both from Stanford University.
