Indigio and PODS Debut Enhanced Pods.com Site

DENVER, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Indigio worked closely through the summer with their client, PODS, to take several steps to collectively improve their Moving & Storage client's Web site. Last week the hard work paid off, as the two companies announced the new site's official release.

Moving is a stressful time in general, and it was important to both companies, that the newly launched site offer both a simple booking process and overall moving tips to facilitate the tedious and often time consuming task. Mike Gavelek, CMO of PODS, commented, "Our overall strategy is to leverage electronic commerce to help potential customers easily understand why moving or storage with PODS is so much less work and less stressful than the older options. Earlier in the summer and prior to this latest launch, Indigio also worked with their client to streamline a customer's booking process. A PODS customer is now able to book online in less than five steps, saving them a significant amount of time in the planning of their move. In addition to facilitating the booking process and providing an easy to understand transaction, the latest release also deployed the ability for a customer to make long distance move reservations online. Previously, customers moving long distances or outside a single franchisee's territory, had to make such reservations via the call center. This implementation was another step in the direction of customer convenience and the ability to provide one stop shopping.

The Marketing team at PODS is also working with Indigio to implement an additional solution where customers are able to purchase moving supplies online whether or not the selected franchisee carries such ancillary products.
