Criticon Corporation Selects Total Site Solutions to Design Secure, Ultra-reliable Data Storage Facility

COLUMBIA, Md., April 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Total Site Solutions (TSS), a Fortress International Group Company (OTC: FAAC) (BULLETIN BOARD: FAAC) providing comprehensive services for the planning, design and development of mission critical facilities today announced that Criticon Corporation has selected TSS for the design of their first mission critical facility. When completed the state-of-the-art facility, located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, will be a premier secure data center in the Mid-Atlantic region. Total Site Solutions' industry leadership and extensive experience in both IT and facilities made the company the logical choice for Criticon.

Criticon Corporation, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, provides public and private sector customers with primary secure data storage, as well as redundant facilities for continuity or disaster recovery purposes. Criticon's "Next Generation Facilities" offer top-tier, cost-effective data center and office continuity co-location solutions. The new Harrisonburg facility, named Criticon I, will be designed to the highest standards of redundancy, adhering to the Uptime Institute's Tier III/Tier IV requirements. Its Harrisonburg location was specifically chosen to reduce risks posed by natural and manmade disasters. Within a 2-hour drive of Washington, DC, the site offers close proximity to technology companies, universities and qualified personnel as well as robust and resilient infrastructure systems. The facility will encompass 130,000 sf, nearly 100,000 of which will be raised floor area. Criticon I will be the first in a series of Tier III/Tier IV facilities that Criticon has planned throughout the nation.

"Criticon has put together a team of qualified individuals who are uniquely suited to develop and build-out state-of-the-art, secured, mission critical data storage facilities and we specifically chose industry leader, Total Site Solutions, to top-off that team," said John Casey, President of Criticon Corporation. "I would like to thank Total Site Solutions' engineering team for their steadfast guidance during our feasibility study on this facility. In addition, I was truly impressed by the professionalism and expertise of their management team throughout the process. Led by Total Site Solutions' President, Gerard Gallagher and our main point-of-contact, Edgar Castro, we have obviously been in very capable hands from the onset of this important first project."

Total Site Solutions' President, Gerard Gallagher added: "This project is truly a state-of-the-art facility being developed to satisfy a significant market demand. There are many critical operations such as government agencies, financial institutions and even medical facilities who find themselves too close to what could be perceived as prime targets, particularly in large key cities such as our nation's capital. Criticon identified the rising need for secure and reliable facilities that are out of harms way. We were proud to be chosen to design their first facility and we look forward to the opportunity to continue to assist them with all future developments."
