DALLAS, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) , a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year information technology outsourcing contract with the State of Maryland's Department of Human Resources. The contract is valued at $110 million.

Under terms of the contract, the ACS team will also consists of IBM, Syscom, and a consortium of minority business enterprises. ACS will provide mainframe and web hosting operations and service, application support, disaster recovery, as well as 24x7 help desk services.
