ACS Continues Expanding Global Footprint in Asia Pacific

DALLAS, May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) , a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today that it continues to expand and further develop its global footprint with two recent international developments. The company just opened its newest technical development center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was host to a group of Chinese business leaders from the Tianjin Economic Development Association (TEDA) at its headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

ACS' new Malaysian facility is located in CyberJaya, the Information Technology Park in Kuala Lumpur. Presently, more than 400 professionals and a vast technical infrastructure occupy 13,500 square feet. ACS plans to employ 700 workers at the center by 2007. From this facility ACS provides clients with network and desktop engineering solutions, system engineering services, mainframe support, application management systems, customer care, and human resources services.

Officials from China visited ACS at its Dallas headquarters to discuss the company's presence there and its plans for future business development. The contingent from TEDA included Mr. Ye Di Sheng, Advisor for Foreign Economic Trade to Tianjin Municipal Government and Mr. Ai Ya Min, Vice Chairman, Administrative Commission of TEDA. ACS first opened its operations in China in 2003 and has continued to grow its services, client base, and employee population.
