LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) presented $690,000 to organizations across the United States and Canada this week as part of the 2008 FOE International Convention in Louisville, Ky. The Eagles, known for their philanthropy outreach, donate nearly $100 million each year.
"Our members from cities all over the U.S. and Canada work hard to raise money for our major funds," said Margaret Cox, FOE Grand Madam President. "We also support organizations and families in all our communities throughout the year."
