The Anne McBride Company Joins The Global Consulting Group

NEW YORK, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Global Consulting Group ("GCG"), a leading international corporate communications, financial communications, and public affairs consulting firm, announced today that it has acquired The Anne McBride Company, a well known New York-based investor relations agency with global reach. The Anne McBride Company will be named the Global Consulting Group.

This transaction brings together the Anne McBride Company's New York office and its affiliates with GCG's existing global network of nine wholly-owned offices and additional affiliates. The enhanced GCG IR practice now includes approximately 55 employees, and over 160 clients, making it one of the largest IR businesses within the industry, serving clients around the world.

Anne McBride joins GCG as Vice Chair of the Global Financial Communications and Investor Relations practice. She also serves as Senior Managing Director, with responsibility and oversight for all investor relations activities undertaken in the U.S. on behalf of both domestic and international clients. The Anne McBride Company brings nearly 40 clients, with more than half located outside of the U.S., including Lukoil (Russia), Petrobras (Brazil), Satyam Computer Services (India), Metabolic Pharmaceuticals (Australia) and Collectors Universe (USA).
