CHERRY HILL, N.J., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- In a ceremony today at Stocker Subaru in State College, Penn., Subaru representatives handed Kevin Robinson the keys to his 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX. The award was bestowed on Robinson by ESPN to go along with his title of "Subaru Most Outstanding Athlete of the Games" for his gold and bronze medal performance in bicycle motocross -- otherwise known as "BMX" -- at ESPN X Games 13 this past August.

The award was part of the Subaru official automotive and gold level sponsorship of X Games 13. Robinson, who soared to the gold medal in "BMX Big Air" and earned the bronze in "BMX Vert," was very pleased to receive the keys to his new Subaru Impreza WRX at his local Subaru dealership.

"Kevin is an amazing athlete and it was great to see him take delivery of his new Subaru Impreza WRX," said Lee Grodsky, regional marketing manager, Subaru of America, Inc. "The Impreza WRX is a perfect fit for an outstanding athlete with its symmetrical all-wheel drive and turbocharged boxer engine -- making it always ready for action."

Other notable tricks of his include the corkscrew, can-can flair, 540 tailwhip and switch handed 540 one-footer. Robinson most recently added the double flair to his list at the 2006 X Games.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Robinson has accumulated many awards and titles in the BMX competition circuit. His accomplishments include X Games gold, silver and bronze medals in BMX Vert, as well as the BMX Big Air title at the 2007 X Games. Additionally, Robinson won the first ever Dew Actions Sports Tour event and has been the Soul Bowl champion three years in a row.

Originally from East Providence, R.I., Robinson currently resides in State College, Pa. with his wife Robin, daughter Shaye and son Kevin Jr. He trains alongside fellow BMX pro Jamie Bestwick at Camp Woodward, an action sports training camp with 17 parks, located in Woodward, Pa.
