Science Faction Appoints Imaging Veteran Charlie Sliwoski as VP

SEATTLE, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Science Faction Images announced today that Charlie Sliwoski has joined the company's ranks as Vice President of Imaging, Editing & Production. Sliwoski brings unique experience and renowned insight into digital imaging, editing and production technologies.

Hired to commandeer an aggressive new growth strategy, Sliwoski will double the editing capabilities of the company, as he works with the CEO Roger Ressmeyer in improving the company's editing pipeline and artist roster.

In 2003, Ressmeyer hired Sliwoski to work for him at RGB labs, now known as GalleryPlayer. Before joining Science Faction, Sliwoski was the Director of Media and Production at GalleryPlayer. At Highturn, his own consulting business, Charlie executed numerous web development projects for clients such as Bellevue Community College, the Seattle Veterans Museum, SAMIS and the historic Smith Tower. Ressmeyer met Sliwoski in 1995 during his 5-year stint as Imaging Manager at Corbis. In this position he was instrumental in building and overseeing the scanning, archiving and image processing of one of the world's largest digital archives, and gained an extensive background in digital image production.
