Pratt & Whitney and Derco Aerospace Sign Agreement for Supply Chain Management

PARIS, June 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Pratt & Whitney and Derco Aerospace, Inc. signed a supply chain management agreement today that will significantly improve delivery performance for new and repaired F100 spare parts. Derco Aerospace is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sikorsky Aircraft. Pratt & Whitney and Sikorsky are United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) companies.

The new program will launch in East Hartford, Conn., and San Antonio, Texas, in support of Pratt & Whitney's military aftermarket services business. Derco Aerospace will be responsible for procuring, stocking and shipping more than 600 unique parts for the F100 engine, which powers the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-15 Strike Eagle for the U.S. Air Force and air forces in 21 nations.
