CHICAGO, April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- It's showtime for Cramer-Krasselt: The nation's third-largest independent advertising agency has been selected as creative agency of record for Gemstar-TV Guide(R).
C-K won the account in a competitive search recently conducted by TV Guide.
"TV Guide is much more than most people probably realize; it's a cross- platform brand that reaches over 70 million people a week," says C-K CEO Peter Krivkovich. "Among the company's signature assets are a robust Web site, a cable television network, industry-leading interactive program guides, plus a great magazine -- and that's just the beginning. TV Guide has such a storied brand and we're thrilled to be involved in helping reinvigorate it for a new, dynamic media landscape."
A television, print and online advertising campaign will break in late 2007; media billings were not disclosed.
"Cramer-Krasselt impressed us on two important levels; first, they had a clear understanding of the power of our brand, and second, they had an abundance of creative ideas about getting our message to consumers," said Alan Cohen, chief marketing officer, Gemstar-TV Guide. "We're excited to work with them to develop a campaign that will let television fans know that TV Guide -- across our varied platforms -- is best-suited to enhance the experience they have with the shows and stars they are most passionate about."
This win is the latest addition to a marquee client roster, with new clients this past year including Brookstone, R.H. Donnelley (Yellow Pages), Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Rozerem), Zantac, KeyBank and the consolidation of the entire Corona beer account at C-K.
Mindshare will handle media planning and buying for the account.
