DDB Tops Creativity Magazine Network Rankings

NEW YORK, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Creativity magazine's third annual Award Report has ranked DDB Worldwide as the most awarded agency network.

The annual review recognizes the most award-winning agencies, advertisers, production companies and networks. DDB Worldwide received a total of 1,055 points, beating out the runner-up by 140 points.

DDB London and DDB Chicago ranked within the top 10 in the Agency Ranking. In addition, Group Creative Director Mark Gross from DDB Chicago was recognized as a top creative director in the Creative Director Rankings. Other DDB offices recognized for their work included DDB Dusseldorf and DDB Paris.

"I'm very proud of our clients, our work and the people who do it," said Bob Scarpelli, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of DDB Worldwide. "This is a testament to the power of creativity across our offices, across our disciplines, and across the world."

Creativity magazine, published 12 times a year by the Advertising Age Group, focuses on the businesses of advertising, production, post-production, design, photography and many other creative disciplines.

The rankings are a culmination of awards results from the major award shows including the International Advertising Festival at Cannes, The Art Directors Club, D&AD, Clios, ANDYs, AICP and The One Show.

The final rankings are tabulated from two categories. The first category is called "The Raw," a point-for-point accounting of every award given to agencies and production companies, with one point given per award. In the second category, "The Cooked" award wins are weighed to reflect the level of the award, with different point values given to Grand Prix/Best of Show, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. All shows are scored identically with the exception of Cannes, which receives a higher premium.

DDB Worldwide (http://www.ddb.com/), twice named The Gunn Report's Most Awarded Agency Network, Adweek's Global Agency and Advertising Age's Global Network of the Year. Number one in Creativity magazine's 2006 ranking of agencies. Four-time winner, Clio Agency Network of the Year. Winner of more awards than any other network in the history of the Cannes International Advertising Festival. Tribal DDB, named Adweek's Interactive Agency of the Year for 2005.
