SAN FRANCISCO, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- AdBrite, the Internet's Ad Marketplace, today announced the appointment of Ignacio ("Iggy") Fanlo, the former President of Shopping.com, as its new CEO. Founder and Chairman Philip J. Kaplan made the announcement. Kaplan will remain Chairman and assume the newly created position of Chief Product Officer.
AdBrite's ads reach more than 55 million unique users monthly, up from 7 million a month at the start of 2005, according to ComScore Media Metrix. The company serves ads on approximately 500,000,000 page views daily.
In addition to representing sites with household names such as NHL.com and Drudge Report, AdBrite enables more than 15,000 independent and niche websites and blogs to sell targeted advertisements.

Mr. Fanlo was formerly President and Chief Revenue Officer of DealTime/Shopping.com. He was part of a three-person team that both took the company public and sold it to eBay in June 2005. Previously, Mr. Fanlo was a Managing Director of both Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan. Mr. Fanlo graduated from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering. He and his family reside in San Francisco.
